Pit Stop Pub
About This Spot
Pit Stop Pub feels like a quiet corner where neighborhood rhythms gently unfold. Tucked away on Fort Smallwood Road within the Curtis Bay Industrial Area, this unassuming spot offers the kind of laid-back atmosphere that invites you to settle in, slow down, and savor the moment. It’s a place where the hum of familiar conversations, the clink of glasses, and the steady pulse of local life blend seamlessly into a space that’s as comfortable as it is unpretentious.
Inside, the pace is easy and welcoming. The modest exterior hints at the warmth inside—a small gathering spot where regulars nod hello by name and newcomers quickly find their footing. Whether you’re stepping in for a quick lunch break or lingering over a late afternoon beer, Pit Stop balances a no-fuss vibe with genuine friendliness that feels almost like coming home.
Food and drink here are uncomplicated, honest, and satisfying. There’s a deep appreciation for local flavors—the kind of dishes that bring comfort after a long day or add meaning to a casual catch-up with friends. The creamy crab soup carries a hint of Old Bay seasoning that feels distinctly Baltimore, while generous sandwiches—like the legendary BLT or a crab cake served alongside crisp fries and cool coleslaw—showcase thoughtful, hearty fare made without pretense.
Whether it’s sharing a plate in the cool hum of midday or grabbing takeout to go, visitors leave with more than just a meal. The experience is rooted in easy camaraderie, familiar tastes, and the subtle magic of a neighborhood spot that values doing things well, without fuss or fanfare.

I love this place. They serve the best cream of crab soup with old bay seasoning. Their crab cake is not the best among the restaurant in Baltimore but definitely a decent flavor. Must recommend for your lunch hour.

Best soup, cakes and fries! The rib sandwich was amazing. Never had a bad meal from here! Eat in or take out!

OMG, thus must be the biggest BLT sandwich I've ever had, I was gonna ask for more bacon, but they come with so much that I'm glad I didn't ask. They had excellent sweet tea also. I must've had 4 cups, and boy, did I pay for it after lunch, I had to pee so much, but well worth it. The chips could've been left off, it was like I got the bottom of the bag, a bunch of crumbs, so I was disappointed with that, but the BLT made up for that. My coworkers had a turkey club & fish & chips, but it was huge also.

1st time there ,met some old work friends and spouses for lunch. Friendly neighborhood pub . Many knew each other ,all were Friendly. Special of the day was a pulled pork sandwich for i believe $5 - great deal. Got the sandwich, fries and a bowl of cream of crab soup. Was not disappointed in any of it ! Would recommend it to anyone !

From the outside, it’s in a small strip and looks like a dive. Don’t let that fool you. Inside, it’s a small and friendly neighborhood restaurant/bar, with phenomenal cream of crab soup and crab cakes. Portion sizes are great, and prices are extremely reasonable. They seem to have a loyal customers they know on first name basis. If I lived closer, I’d be there often. Definitely going back to try other menu items but I’ll be honest…it will be hard to pass on the soup and crab cakes.

We Visited Pit Stop Several Times With Friends, Always Busy, Very Reasonably Priced! Reason The Place Is Always Packed!

Do not let this little bar in a tiny shopping center deter you from having some of the best food in Pasadena. The crab soup is probably the best I’ve had and the ribs were fall off the bone tender. Our sever was phenomenal and was very attentive. Can’t wait to come back for a ravens game! 10/10

Food is amazing and not your typical bar food. Its a regualr kinda crowd place so they seem to show favoritism and can be a little rude with saving seats and such when its game night but the food makes up for it. Everything is good esp the crab cake and crab soups.
